Who we are. Strand Lodge No. 1987 is a masonic lodge meeting at Freemasons' Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5AZ. The Lodge Secretary is responsible for any personal information you send us through this website.

What we collect. When you use the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the subject you choose and whatever you write in the message. We collect nothing else, and we do not track you around the site.

Why we collect it. So that the Secretary can reply to you. That is the only reason. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.

Where it goes. The form sends your message by email to the Secretary. It is not stored on this website. The Secretary keeps the email for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry, and if you go on to join the Lodge, your details become part of the normal membership records.

Who sees it. The Secretary, and where relevant the Scribe E of the Chapter. We do not share your details with anyone else, we do not sell them, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted within twelve months. Enquiries that lead to membership are kept as part of your membership record.

Your rights. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the Secretary through the contact form. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
